Just tallied up the miles I ran in year 2008. 500 miles.. It was unthinkable for me until beginning of 2008 and now it is done deal. I am trying to preserve the fitness levels I achieved through my first marathon training. Running 2-3 times a week with 4-5 miles per session. I would like to do more when time permits.

I am thinking of winding up this blog as my mission of running a marathon accomplished. Overall, my journey towards the first marathon gave me sense of accomplishment, satisfaction of making a difference in someone's life, increased my fitness levels, started enjoying the act of running.
